Solo exhibition - Nada Lunch

Lightbody examines the formation of self through inherited thought-forms, emotional patterning, and the subtle architectures of conditioning. The work emerges from an ongoing process of inner reconstruction: an intimate practice of introspection, reconciliation, and self-authorship. At the center of the exhibition are paintings that navigate interior landscapes shaped by lineage, memory, and lived experience. Each work approaches identity as something both inherited and continually remade, where reflection becomes transformation.

“I’ve dug deep beneath my skin, pulling past the surface. Here ancestral patterns were found, rhythms of distant energies that roamed long before me.

There is an inexplicable love surrounding my existence. Density and buoyancy become one and the same. As I tear through my inner workings to excavate truth, I find myself within a passion that has grown far larger than the extremities of this vessel.

My heart pours forth in the language cultivated through this experience. I share with you the inner workings of my heart and soul. My miseries are met with gratitude. My woes are replaced with peace.

This is Lightbody. I am all those who came before me.” -H. Lightbody
